SPORT AND EXERCISE

 

Children and Youth

Tots Tennis – a pre-school class (aged 3 to 5 years) involving ball games and mini tennis skills.

Children’s after school sports – each term the sports worker offers a variety of multi-sports sessions and tennis coaching opportunities for primary aged children.

Youth Sports session – evening social sport session for secondary school pupils.  Badminton or basketball in winter months and a range of outdoor sports on the multi-use pitch in summer-time.

Tennis Coaching – group and individual coaching is available for all ages.  Centre sports worker is a level 3 LTA accredited+ tennis coach – contact for details and bookings.

Adults                    

HIIT – High intensity interval training – 30 minutes of short bouts of high-powered work!

Pilates – Core strengthening exercises, plus improve your balance and flexibility.

Kettlebells – Functional full body workout improving strength and core stability.

Yoga – Improve your strength and flexibility plus time for relaxation. Organised by CACE.

Badminton social – Social games for adults.

Boccia – Seated target sport – roll, kick or throw. Inclusive session for all abilities.

TRX – body weight suspension training for a serious full body and tough core workout.

Jogging – weekly relaxed jogging group for all abilities.  C25K options if you want to get started or faster pace for those with more experience.

Cycling – approved Cycle Hub.  During spring and summer we meet for regular led-rides with our trained staff and volunteers to support riders of all abilities.  Small group and beginner sessions available for those looking to build confidence.
