Babies / Toddlers / Pre-Schoolers and their parents/carers

Under 5’s – Volunteer-led adult and child social session for children and their parents and carers. Sessions include play time, snack for the children, and hot drink for adults.  In addition, outings and events take place during the year.

PEEP (Parent early education partnership) group – an informal parent and child programme that values and extends what parents/carers already do to support their child’s learning through day to day experiences.   Contact anthea@madochcentre.com

Music Class – Selkie music classes provide funs sessions on a Friday morning for babies and toddlers – contact Lisa by emailing selkie.music@hotmail.com

Reading Fairy – classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers which nurture a love of reading. Thursday mornings in the Centre. Contact: dundee@readingfairy.com

Daisy Foundation – pre & post-natal classes for mums and babies, contact: louise-corrigan@thedaisyfoundation.com

Breast Buddies – breast feeding support group set up by Homestart. Meets on a Friday morning.  BB@homestartpk.org.uk

Incredible years – (parenting programme) and Infant massage courses take place in blocks in the Centre – contact PKC parenting team.  parenting@pkc.gov.uk

Older adults

Lunch Club – ‘Souper Seniors’ – weekly lunch club throughout the winter months for our active over 80s! Provides a homemade soup and a cuppa with chance to catch up with friends and make new ones!

Blether and Baking – weekly opportunity for active over 80s to meet for a cuppa cake.

Knitting Group – weekly meet up in the café to knit and natter!  Bring your own knitting or make something to support local charities and support groups. Free refreshments.

Craft Group – informal crafting group meeting weekly.  Card making mainly, but welcome to come along and do your own crafting in company with a cuppa!
